Drive-by-Photography

Drive-by-Photography is a cultural practice to explore landscapes rather as a whole than a concentrate of postcard points only and is inspired by american drive-by cultural events like drive-thru consuming or drive-by shootings.

Through continuously moving towards landscape, focussing points with the eyes can only last a few seconds and soon be interrupted by the flow of the streets. Perception automatically comes up as a chain of brief images.

Drive-by-Photography can only happen from inside of a moving vehicle.
